Yes, I know I write a lot about Lourdes. That’s one of the hazards of being moved by something like a pilgrimage or a retreat experience. But here’s something new. While the Order of Malta was on pilgrimage this year, a few of the members of the Order followed our group around for the week, and made these two short videos, which give you a sense of what the weeklong pilgrimage is like. The footage at the end of the first segment, of the evening Marian procession, is especially good. And Part Two includes the story of the mini-miracle, or miracle, that I mentioned in a previous post. Listen to the explanation from the person to whom it happened, and come to your own conclusion. Frankly, though they generally don’t make headlines, one hears similar stories frequently at Lourdes.
