ADVENT REFLECTIONS Look down from Heaven and see! Where is your zeal and your might? Will you refuse your mercy to us? You were always called ’Our Redeemer", Why, Lord, do you let us wander from your ways And let our hearts grow too hard to fear you? Return, Lord, to your servants! O that you would tear the heavens open and come down! You are our Father...All of us the work of your hands. Isaiah 63, 16 – 64, 11 Lord, help me to think deeply about your becoming a human being to die and live again. Come again into my world, our world, And help me prepare for you now in the Christmas communion, And when you come at the end of my life.
