The National Catholic Review

We are happy to announce that America is now available on the Nook, the e-reader from Barnes & Noble. Nook offers an excellent experience for magazine readers. Each issue is downloaded as a PDF, so you can see the magazine layed out as you would in print format. And there are links for easy reading, so you don't have to zoom in on every page. It's really a handsome product; the editors here have been very impressed.

So if you want to keep up with America, but don't want those old issues piling up, give the Nook a try. It's only $2.99 a month, and you can try a 14-day free trial. You don't even have to own a Nook. You can download free apps here for your tablet, smart phone or PC.

And, of course, you can also subscribe to America on the Kindle. Same price, same free trial offer.

If you already have a subscription to America, do you need an additional one for the Nook or the Kindle Fire?  Or can one use their current subscription?
