I resisted posting this for a few days.  It's absolutely brilliant but has some blue language up front.  So yesterday I consulted with two of our editors, who said, "Are you kidding?  Post it!"  Anyway, cover your ears early on, but enjoy this fantastic parody of the kind of lazy journalism that you often see on these kinds of spots.  (H/t David Gibson at Dotcommonweal).

Brillian. Simply brilliant. I remember being in college journalism class poking fun at the broadcast types for reasons very much like shown in this clip.
