I think Fr. Christiansen should take a new tact and try to understand the opposition to the so called global warming crisis.  I am not denying that there has been global warming but I am certain that the controversy over it has nothing to do with affecting climate change.  If it did then there would be a completely different approach to the topic.

What was in Congress would not have affected the climate one iota and that is what has to be addressed.  There are other much more effective measures.  One source I suggest Fr. Christiansen examine is the work of Bjorn Lomborg.  He has a much more interesting agenda for the world then the so called climate change advocates.

Padre: I think that climate, much like Catholicism, is measured over very long periods of time.

The latest from america

Against the backdrop of deep differences with the Trump administration over migration and foreign aid as well as concerns for Ukraine and for Gaza, the Vatican secretary of state welcomed U.S. Vice President JD Vance to the Vatican.
Vance, who converted to Catholicism in 2019, attended the liturgy with his wife, Usha, a practicing Hindu, and his three children after meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni earlier in the day.
My Catholic identity and my wife’s Protestant identity continue to endure, and our faith has developed together in greater harmony, knowing that our love for each other was ultimately grounded in our love for God.
