Where do you get the idea that intervening in Libya was a success? It certainly was for the international banksters, and giant Western oil corporations. Al-Qaeda can also call it a success: their black flag proudly flies over Libyian cities and sharia law is being implemented. It was heart breaking to see the CIA remember it's bastard Islamic extremist organization. I suppose the relationship was almost as cozy as when they fought the Soviets in Afghanistan.
What's this rubish about foreign intervention used as a "tool of foreign policy"? When did Americans give up their Constitution and transfered power to declare war (stop playing semantics and call things by name) from Congress to the United Nations? Where are anti-war and human-rights Catholics when Emperor Obama can start wars and have drones blow up American citizens without trial?
