My name streams from your mouth—
an adagio with indentations and
a scent of sacrifice.

I see my name
written in
grass style calligraphy.

I want to slide into each stroke
and swim with each stroke.

I am a dolphin swimming,
bobbing up and down
along the Wai’anae coast

I am afraid of drowning.
The dolphin in me says,
I love you.

Listening to my name is listening
to a command.

It is the act
of emptying out—
decanting the purification water
from a cruet.

Thanks for sharing this type of blog, swimming is a very interesting thing for everybody. Most of the people like to swim in the pool or any other places, for the swimming there are most of the things to know, first the swimming then the safety of the swimming. Now people make the pool in their home but due to the maintenance there are many pools in unusable condition.Pool Cleaning Chatsworth

There is a cynical strain of MAGA, a mirror of the deconstructivism of the left, which jeers at woke hypocrisy but is not for much of anything—certainly not anything requiring faith or sacrifice.
