George in mid-November, told the priests of the Archdiocese of Chicago on Oct. 22 that he will live in the rectory at Holy Name Cathedral. • Although prayers and meetings with Orthodox leaders dominate the schedule of Pope Francis’ trip to Turkey on Nov. 28 to 30, he will also meet government leaders and visit Istanbul’s Blue Mosque. • The European Union fails to protect the human dignity of refugees and asylum seekers, who often are unnecessarily held in detention facilities or in prison, the European Conference of Justice and Peace Commissions reported on Oct 22.• Msgr. Lorenzo Albacete, an American theologian, scientist and author and one of the U.S. leaders of the international movement Communion and Liberation, passed away on Oct. 24 in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.
