Please donate to America Media to support our great work.

The second year of the papacy of Pope Francis has proven a remarkable time in the life of church. His pastoral approach, focused on mercy and compassion, continues to change the way people are thinking about our faith, Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

We all look forward with great anticipation to Pope Francis’ upcoming visit to the United States. I am grateful for the opportunity, as the editor in chief of America Media, to cover the papal visit and share this important moment with you, our America Media community.

With our expert staff and contributors, our dynamic multiplatform coverage approach and our highly engaged audience of thought-leaders, America Media is leading the conversation on this monumental event.

We were humbled and proud to publish our groundbreaking exclusive interview with Pope Francis in September 2013. And now, two years later in preparation for his upcoming visit, we have recently published a special papal preview issue, several engaging multimedia pieces on our digital platforms and will take part in a number of events surrounding the pope’s visit to New York.

Up to and during the visit we’ll be providing ongoing coverage and expert commentary on our magazine, digital, radio and film platforms as well as on television with outlets like ABC News. Our on-camera team will include Fr. Jim Martin, me and our Vatican Correspondent, Gerard O’Connell who will be traveling with Pope Francis providing up-to-the minute coverage.

You provide the engagement and prayers to create a community but we also need your support to grow and thrive as a media ministry. Please donate today to support our special papal and Vatican coverage.

Keeping President Biden on the ballot is like telling voters: “Trust us. Don’t believe your eyes and ears.”
Many watching last night’s debate wondered if this was the end for Joe Biden. But I could not help but wonder if this was the end of presidential debates.
