Three Catholics and a rabbi walk into a podcast studio
What does the word “rabbi” mean? And is a priest just the Catholic version of a rabbi? This week, we've got some Judaism 101, “radical hospitality” and more with Rabbi Avram Mlotek. Rabbi Avram is the co-founder of Base, a project that creates Jewish communities centered around hospitality, learning and service.
And in Signs of the Times, Pope Francis selects five new cardinals; Haitians in the United States get temporary protected status extensions; and Vice President Mike Pence and Greg Boyle speak at the Notre Dame commencement. And, in what is slowly becoming the “Zac Davis Wonders Why This Is Interesting” section, we discuss “The Bachelorette.”
Finally, the meeting everyone has been anxiously awaiting: President Donald J. Trump and Pope Francis meet at the Vatican, or as I like to call it, PRUMP 2017.
Shout out to Sarah for this week's adverbs...
