Inés first speaks with Colleen about World Mission Sunday, happening on Oct. 22, when there will be a second collection for the church’s missionary territories. She also explains the changes that The Pontifical Mission Societies U.S.A. have made following a financial scandal that led to a $10.2 million loss earlier this year.

In the second part of the show, Colleen and Inés discuss Pope Francis and the synod. Inés, being from Argentina like Pope Francis, offers insights into what those from another country might not fully understand about the pope. They also discuss synod secrecy guidelines, where Inés provides a unique perspective as a former Vatican journalist now involved in Vatican communications for the synod.
