Benjamin B. Hawley, S.J., born in Boston and raised in New Jersey, is a former Peace Corps Volunteer and USAID Foreign Service Officer. He has served as the president of Brebeuf Jesuit Prep School in Indianapolis, pastor of St. Mary Student Parish in Ann Arbor, associate pastor at Holy Trinity in Washington, D.C., and is currently a senior priest at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Manhattan, New York.
