Cardinal Pietro Parolin and Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra, the two most senior advisors to Pope Francis, have tested positive for Covid-19 and are in quarantine.
“Multilateral diplomacy is thus called to be truly inclusive,” the pope said, “not canceling but cherishing the differences and sensibilities that have historically marked various peoples.”
The pope, who celebrated his 85th birthday on Dec. 17, is not planning to slow down — and there appears to be no resignation or conclave on the horizon.
In his letter to families, like in “Amoris Laetitia,” Pope Francis paid tribute to the strength and tenacity of couples as they face real difficulties together on the journey of life.
