“I come as a pilgrim of peace and fraternity, in a world that greatly needs it,” the pope said in a video message to the “dear people of Morocco” on the eve of his visit this weekend.
"To define a whole category of people, or a whole nation, or a whole religious group as being in some way more prone to terrorism than any other group is irresponsible."
Recalling his February 3-5 visit to Abu Dhabi, Pope Francis reflected on how, despite the diversity of cultures and traditions, Islam and Christianity do have common values.
Pope Francis made history this morning when he celebrated Mass for more than 135,000 Catholics from many nations and cultures at the Zayed Sports stadium in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
