The Black Lives Matter movement has grown to become the first major racial justice movement in the United States since the civil rights movement of the 1950s and ’60s.

The Vatican's women's magazine is denouncing the sexual abuse of nuns by priests — and the resulting "scandal" of religious sisters having abortions or giving birth to children who are then not recognized by their fathers.

Cardinal Charles Maung Bo of Yangon said the country's church has adopted a "zero tolerance" approach to sexual abuse in church institutions and by clergy.

Originally published in 1923, the works were slated to enter the public domain — meaning others are free to adapt and otherwise use them — in 1999. But Congress extended the copyrights for 20 more years.

Some consciences are being woken to recognize the tragedy of abortion—that is an opportunity for pro-lifers.

"The whole world meets here in a way," said the Rev. Lennie Connully, the parish priest of St. Mary's. "We have people from all over."
