In today’s Gospel, at the Mass celebrated at San Tommaso Da Villanova Church located in Castel Gandolfo, Jesus asks, “Why do you not know how to interpret the present time?”

I was asked to share a reflection of my experiences thus far of this amazing journey.

On Oct. 24, we celebrated Mass at the Church of the Gesu, the mother church of the Society of Jesus.

Yesterday, I had the chance to serve as deacon for Mass in the Church of St. Ignatius in Rome. It was a beautiful liturgy on a crystal blue day shared with family and friends. What a joyous opportunity!

Chances are if you’re Catholic you’ve said it, or at least thought it: I am terrible at praying.

I’ve never even owned a dog. Isn’t that a prereq for parenting these days?
