Each day, I have been overwhelmed by the proximity of Jesus and the disciples. Standing near where Jesus preached the Beatitudes and seeing the Bay of Parables brought these stories to life in a new way.

Over the summer I experienced a sudden and seemingly permanent end to a friendship. The abruptness and not knowing why it ended sent me into a tailspin of deep sadness. I cherished that friendship. I was heartbroken and devastated.
