Paul Mariani, poet, professor at Boston College, and author of biographies of Hart Crane, William Carlos Williams and Gerard Manley Hopkins, served for several years as the poetry editor at America. In an interview in the April 2 issue, he speaks about how faith influences his poetry. Here we present a selection of his poems and essays for America.
