I think it would be nice to actually talk about the theological claims of Mormonism, such as their doctrine of God and creation (etc), and how they relate to the teachings of the Church. There is a lot of similar-sounding commentary going on about the faith and politics question. That stuff is all over the internet. But as Catholics we also need to be learning more about Mormon doctrine and how it relates to Catholic faith. I was hoping America would help us here. Can you start a thread on that? We are just so theologically illiterate now. Thanks.

I'm glad ABC interviewed Matt Malone - it's great to have a Jesuit perspective from someone who actually used to be active in political matters. Kudos!
