Gibson, a former Vatican radio correspondent, experienced religion journalist and author of both ’The Coming Catholic Church’ and ’The Rule of Benedict’ (and full disclosure: a good friend) is uniquely positioned to comment intelligently on what the pope says and does, and doesn’t say and doesn’t do, while he’s in the States.
