As Michael Corleone once said, every time he tries to get out, they pull him back in. Fr. Jim Martin, SJ will be Stephen Colbert’s first guest tonight on the Colbert Report (Comedy Central, 11:30pm Eastern Time), discussing the papal visit. You may have seen Jim on television once or twice this past week; he (along with fellow America editors Matt Malone and Joe O’Hare) provided commentary for a number of media outlets during the pope’s visit. In the spirit of Benedict XVI’s joyful celebration with us, we can expect tonight to bring more smiles; let’s hope Jim can keep a straight face! Jim Keane, SJ
