Do you read Busted Halo?  You should.  The "online magazine for seekers in their 20s and 30s" is one of the best spirituality websites around.  Consistently interesting, thoughtful, and very often witty, it’s the perfect place for the collegiate, post-college, and even poster-college crowd looking for some solid spiritual food.  Run by the Paulists and edited by Bill McGarvey, himself a talented writer and musician, the site has been upgraded lately with a cool new design that makes it even easier to see the variety of offerings--features, reviews, articles, interviews, audio, video, and on and on.

Their latest venture is a new version of their popular Freshman Survival Guide, a perfect thing to forward to your favorite high school grad.

Bill McGarvey describes it this way: "The Freshman Survival Guide is a series of articles and interviews addressing the issues surrounding college freshman. In addition advice from administrators, professors, counselors, campus ministers and mental health professionals, the Freshman Survival Guide heavily reflects the experiences of current and recent college students who shared their advice. The level of interest became most apparent when last year’s version was reposted on catholic.org-a large internet news aggregator-where it was forwarded over 30,000 times and became both the most read and most emailed article on that site for four straight months."

Just the thing for any skittish college freshman you might know. Or be.
