"The University of Notre Dame is committed to fostering an environment of welcome and mutual respect that is grounded in its Catholic mission." So says Jack Swarbrick, Notre Dame's athletic director, in a new video meant to convey support for LGBT athletes at the University. According to the Chicago Tribune, the video is Notre Dame's response to the You Can Play Project, an initiative that promotes respect and support for LGBT athletes. Here is Notre Dame's short video:
