In two weeks, the Vatican will hold a Synod of Bishops on "young people, faith and vocational discernment." This bishops have been preparing for this synod for over a year but many people, including bishops in the U.S., have called for its cancellation. In its place, they want for a synod of bishops focused on the sex abuse crisis plaguing the universal church right now.
