Laurika Nxumalo is a member of the South African Council of Churches Women’s Forum, representing the Southern African Catholic Bishops Conference. She is also the archdiocesan secretary of the Archdiocese of Pretoria. She was a member of the Synod on Synodality assembly in the Archdiocese of Pretoria and has been a religious education teacher at Iona Convent School, an independent Catholic girls’ school in Pretoria.
