Maria Paula Merchan-Gamero is in 8th grade at St. Thomas More Catholic Elementary in London, Ontario. She is involved in gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, basketball and dancing. Her favorite authors are Lois Lowry and Deborah Ellis. She plans to be a heart surgeon.
